That’s the title of our monthly e-mail newsletter which is going to inform you about everything that shakes in the Stag-O-Lee universe. It also features a selected bunch of new releases, basically only stuff we dig, like the two albums (Rockin’ Blues and R&B Meets Northern Soul Vol. 2) you see on the right hand side of this lovely page. Mostly vinyl, a lot of 45`s but also CD’s, of course.

The Shakedown @ Byte.FM

The Shakedown is a bi-weekly radioshow selected by Stag-O-Lee chief Prince R-man. The show is being streamed via German web-radio Byte.FM for the world to hear.

Wednesday the 10th of March, is the day of the first show. Tune in at 2 pm German time and you will be treated to an hour worth of 50s Rhythm & Blues, Rocksteady/Ska and some Blues Boppers. You’ll hear tracks by Koko Taylor, Blanche Thomas, Jo Jo Bennett, Art Neville, Little Walter, Alton Ellis, Bobby Bland, Della Reese, Little Willie John and a lot of others. I managed to squeeze 24 tunes into 60 minutes, so there will be very little of my (German) talking. Tune in here, start the player on top left and enjoy.
